DQ Breakfast Event April 14 2011

Accelerate Data Governance with Data Quality tools and find out just how acheivable data quality can be.

Adastra DQ Breakfast Event Apr. 14 2011

BREAKFAST SEMINAR

Accelerating Data Governance implementation with Data Quality tools and dashboards

As with other Information Management (IM) project types, Data Quality requires solid justification around what poor data quality costs the organization, and what improved Data Quality can do to provide savings and make IM infrastructures work more effectively. Adastra was pleased to present this breakfast seminar to flesh out some of these issues and provide expert insight on how Data Quality projects work, and solid justification for why they are an important element of any IM strategy. Thanks to all who attended!

Presentations:

Data Governance Accelerators Focus on Data Quality Management
It is undeniable that clean, accurate records are a good thing to have, but more is needed in the face of competing priorities. This presentation provided an overview of Data Quality issues and their impact on business processes – the true cost of bad data and the benefits of good data – as well as strategies to align the organisation towards good data stewardship.

DQ Management Accelerators – A Day in the Life of a Data Steward
To demystify the processes around effective Data Quality management, this two-pronged presentation combined real scenarios faced by today’s business leaders with a hands-on demonstration of how Adastra’s DQ Monitoring solution harnesses the power of Ataccama. The different stages of the Data Quality management process were experienced through the challenges posed by poor quality data and the resolution to these challenges, all in a meaningful business context.

IM Speaking  is part of Adastra's ongoing commitment to sharing knowledge with the business community on emerging Information Management technologies and approaches.
