Job Duties and Responsibilities
Business Architect is a pivotal role encompassing design of business and technical solutions, business development and project management responsibilities.
The successful candidate is an IT data warehousing professional with rich end-to-end project development experience. He/she will be responsible for consulting with current customers at the IT management and senior executive level to identify requirements, develop business cases, present technical solutions and develop an ongoing relationship to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations. He/she will be responsible for business, processes and IT architecture of new Data Warehouse systems and will oversee the development efforts.
Qualifications
- University degree and at least 5-10 years of hands-on data warehousing experience.
- 3-5 years in managerial or team lead position with responsibilities for both, it staff and business users relationships.
- Expertise in at least one of the areas of Data Architecture, ETL design, Technical Architecture or Data Mining.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- An ability to build and deliver effective presentations and briefings at the executive client level (with technical support). Experience in Financial, Insurance and Retail markets is a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with high level decision makers within an organization.
- Exceptional skills in facilitating meetings, interviewing, probing and influencing others.
- Understanding of data mining, business process, modeling techniques and business analysis.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution and relationship management skills are required.
- Ability to understand company-wide project initiatives, identify cross-functional opportunities, and comprehend organization’s overall business direction.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
