Adastra's Annual Customer Appreciation Charity Event a Success!

Adastra Corporation held its Annual Customer Appreciation Charity event on Thursday September 24th, 2009 at Eagles Nest Golf Club to celebrate the 2009 year.  With over 40 customers in attendance we couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate teamwork, creative thinking, and old fashioned-perseverance, as well as our evolving and deepening partnerships with a wide range of dynamic organizations.

A centrepiece of the event was the charity drive: charitable competitions raised over $5000 for Habitat for Humanity, which helps families in need build a better future for themselves and their children by providing them with a home of their own. Habitat families work with volunteers to help build their homes and take out long-term, interest-free mortgages carried by Habitat.

Adastra Corporation volunteered in a Habitat for Humanity build on Saturday, October 24th in Markham. We helped to restore the Hawkins House, a historic farmhouse, in the Sixteenth Ave and Ninth Line area of the Cornell Development. 
We want to thank everyone who attended and helped us raise funds for such a great cause.
